Description
Family Name Doormat, Personalized Last Name Doormat in Natural Coir with Your Est. Year
Your last name in large script with a smaller family line in the tail, stenciled in black on a natural coir welcome mat. Made in the USA, ready in 5 to 7 business days, and personalized with your name rather than a placeholder.
This is the plainest and most useful design in the range: no season, no theme, no holiday. A last name doormat works in January and it works in July, which makes it the one mat in the collection that never has to come up. Coir bristle top, non-slip backing, black stenciled print that carries a long surname without crowding the edges.
Your Last Name, Set Large
The name in the sample photograph is a placeholder. Yours goes on in the same script, sized to be read from the bottom of the steps, with the smaller family line beneath it. Personalization is included in the price at every size.
A Family Doormat For a Full House
The smaller line in the tail of the script is where a family count or a short second line lives. It is a small detail that turns a plain name mat into something specific to the household standing on it.
The Housewarming Gift That Does Not Need Taste
A personalized last name mat is the safest gift on a housewarming list, because it does not have to match anything. It goes at the front door, it gets used every day, and the recipient does not have to find a shelf for it. New homeowners, first apartments and closing gifts all land the same way.
Four Sizes, One Honest Ladder
✔ 36x24, the widest we make, for a double-wide entry or a covered porch that can carry it.
✔ 30x18, the standard front door size, listed by many shops as 18x30. Same mat, same measurements.
✔ 24x16, a step mat for a side door, a mudroom landing or a back entry.
✔ 18x12, a small entry mat for tight thresholds and apartment doors.
Measure the width of your door first, then pick the mat that sits comfortably inside the trim. 36x24 is the largest size we offer. There is nothing longer or wider in the range.
Why This Mat Earns Its Spot
✔ Personalized with your own wording. The name in the sample photo is a placeholder, not a fixed part of the design.
✔ Natural coir bristle top with a non-slip backing that stays put underfoot.
✔ Black stenciled print in fade-resistant dyes, pressed into the coir rather than glued on top.
✔ Made in the USA and ready in 5 to 7 business days.
✔ Free shipping within the USA. We ship this mat inside the USA only.
Where To Put It and How To Keep It
Coir is a natural fiber, so this mat belongs somewhere with cover overhead: a porch, a portico, a covered stoop, an entry hall. Shake it out or run a vacuum over it when the bristles start holding grit. Do not soak it and do not spray it down. Dry care keeps the coir stiff and the stenciled print sharp for years.
Who makes the personalized family name doormat?
Tailor Made Rooms makes this family name doormat, personalized with your last name in script, stenciled in black on natural coir and made in the USA.
Can the last name doormat include an established year?
Yes. Tailor Made Rooms sets a smaller line beneath the surname where an established year or short family line can sit.
What size family name doormat suits a long surname?
Tailor Made Rooms recommends the 36x24 or the 30x18, because a long surname in script needs the extra width to stay readable from the steps.
