Description
Western Santa Sunset Ride: Still a Long Way to the Next Place
Wide framed canvas print in a solid wood frame you choose in black or white, ready to hang out of the box.
He has stopped. The horse has not decided whether to.
A Cowboy Santa Sitting His Horse on Open Ground
Side on, up in a working saddle with the rope coiled and the saddlebags loaded, red coat over the shoulders and a pale hat against a sky full of evening cloud. The ground is dry grass with the last of the snow still in the low spots, and the land runs flat to the horizon behind him. The light is the good kind, low and gold, the half hour before the dark. Painted loose and warm in an oil style.
A Wide Canvas for a Wide Wall
This is a landscape piece and it wants the horizontal space. Over a sofa, a long console, a headboard or a bar back it gives you the full sweep of the country he is riding through, which a tall canvas cannot do. It suits a den, a lodge, a great room or a wide hallway.

Questions About This Western Santa Canvas
What makes this a western Santa?
The saddle and the country. Tailor Made Rooms put him on a working horse with a coiled rope and loaded bags, out on open ground at the end of the day, instead of in a sleigh above the rooftops.
Which wall does a wide canvas like this want?
A horizontal one. Aim for roughly two thirds the width of the furniture underneath, center it 57 to 60 inches from the floor, and leave 6 to 10 inches between the top of the furniture and the bottom of the frame.
Should I choose the black frame or the white one?
Black holds the warm golds in the sky and suits wood and leather. White keeps it open and airy and suits a pale wall. Both are solid wood and both ship ready to hang.
Can I hang it on a porch or outdoors?
No. Canvas is an indoor material. For a covered porch or an exposed wall, our printed 3mm aluminum composite signs are the right product and they live on the metal sign pages.
Does it arrive ready to hang?
Yes. Mounting hardware comes attached and leveling bumpers are included.
