Each piece is a vintage Santa with pet scene, a vintage style portrait of Santa holding the animal, painted to feel like it was found in a well loved storybook.
More than forty breeds and animals are already here, from Goldendoodles and Beagles to a Great Pyrenees, a kitten, a cow and a white horse. If yours is not, we paint it.
What material are these printed on?
Gallery wrapped stretched canvas, printed to order. Canvas is the only material in this collection, chosen because the brushwork and the aged tone of these paintings read best on a textured surface rather than a glossy one. You choose the depth of the wrap, either three quarter inch or one and a quarter inch.
What sizes are available?
These are square paintings, offered from 10 by 10 inches up to 36 by 36 inches. A 10 by 10 works on a shelf or in a gallery wall cluster, 16 by 16 suits a hallway or a powder room, and 24 by 24 or 36 by 36 holds a mantel on its own. The price moves with the size.
How do I pick the right size?
Aim for roughly two thirds the width of whatever it hangs above, and hang the center 57 to 60 inches from the floor. Cut the size out of painters tape and put it on the wall for a day before you order. Most people size up once they see it.
Is the art ready to hang?
Yes. Every canvas arrives stretched on a wooden frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Nothing needs framing or assembly.
My pet is not in the collection. Can you paint it?
Yes. Send us a clear photograph and we will paint your own pet into the same vintage Santa scene, or any other setting you have in mind. That is what our custom pet portraits are for. Tell us the breed, the coloring and anything particular about them, a crooked ear, one blue eye, and it goes into the painting. You approve a proof before anything is printed.

For every print we produce, one tree is planted. Our print partner works with Trees for the Future, a non profit that trains farming communities in agroforestry and sustainable land use. It costs you nothing and it is the reason a print from us leaves the ground better than it found it.
How do I care for the canvas?
Dust it with a soft dry cloth, going with the weave. No sprays, no glass cleaner, no damp cloth. Keep it out of all day direct sun and the color holds for years.
