A Cowboy Santa Mid Conversation With His Horse
He has both gloved hands folded on top of the saddle and his weight settled into it, pale hat back off his glasses, beard spilling down the front of the red coat with its heavy white fur. The bay is turned in toward him with the bridle on and the reins hanging, close enough that the two heads almost meet. Snow on the ground, snow in the air, cold blue light. Nobody is going anywhere for a minute.

Questions About This Western Santa Canvas
How is this different from the other horse canvases?
There are four and they each do a different thing. This is the standing one, where he has his arms folded on the saddle and the horse has turned to face him. The packhorse piece has the animal loaded and both of them side on. The wide close one crops right in on the two heads. The sunset piece has him mounted and riding.
Is it a Christmas piece or a winter piece?
It leans winter. The red coat is the only holiday cue, so it holds a wall well past December without looking like something you forgot to take down.
Should I choose the black frame or the white one?
Black gives the snow a hard boundary and picks up the dark of the horse. White carries the cold pale light past the edge of the canvas. Both are solid wood and both ship ready to hang.
Can I hang it on a porch or in a barn?
Only if the space is heated and dry. Canvas is an indoor material. For an unheated barn, a covered porch or an exposed wall, our printed 3mm aluminum composite signs are the right product and they live on the metal sign pages.
Does it arrive ready to hang?
Yes. Mounting hardware comes attached and leveling bumpers are included.
